CHERAS, 16 June – The Centre for Foundation Studies in Science of Universiti Putra Malaysia (ASPutra), participated in the Promotional Exhibition held in conjunction with the SMK Cheras Perdana Science and Mathematics Week on 16 June 2026 (Tuesday) at SMK Cheras Perdana.

The programme was led by Dr. Muhammad Alif Mohammad Latif, Deputy Director II (Student Affairs, Industry and Community Engagement). The promotional exhibition was coordinated by Mr. Tuan Muhammad Syafiq Tuan Hassan as the Chief Promotion Officer, together with Mr. Mohd Fadzil Suhaimi, Ms. Nur Syafiqah Idris, and Ms. Nur Ain Asyiqin Anas.

The opening ceremony was followed by a forum discussing the exhibition theme, featuring representatives from SMK Cheras Perdana, ASPutra (UPM), the Department of Chemistry Malaysia, and the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MET Malaysia). ASPutra was represented by Dr. Muhammad Alif Mohammad Latif, after which the programme continued with a visit to the exhibition booths.

Throughout the exhibition, the ASPutra promotion team provided information on the Foundation in Agricultural Science programme, admission requirements, academic pathways to UPM and career opportunities to students and teachers.

ASPutra's participation successfully achieved its promotional objectives by enhancing students' awareness and understanding of the programmes offered, strengthening strategic collaboration with the school, and promoting UPM as a preferred destination for foundation studies.
