Due to the ongoing uncertainty of the pandemic, the first meeting between the new students of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (2021/2022) with the staffs from The Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (ASPer) was held virtually through Webex Meeting and FB Live.

This ceremony was set up as a symbolic act that marked the beginning of students’ educational journey at ASPer, Universiti Putra Malaysia. During the ceremony, students were presented with two welcoming videos from Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan bin Sulaiman, the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina binti Mohd. Top @ Mohd. Tah, the Director of The Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science. In addition, they were further briefed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norfifah binti Bachok@Lati, Deputy Director II (Students Affairs and JINM) on the procedure and implementation of ‘Putra Perkasa’ Week.

Following this ceremony, students will undergo ‘Putra Perkasa’ week via online starting from 31^st July 2021 until 7^th August 2021. The sessions will be hosted as follows:

1. Briefing session on Putra VID & Putra Learning Hub
2. Briefing session of Course Registration
3. Briefing session on Teaching and Learning
4. Introduction to Organisational Chart of Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science
5. Briefing session on Students Affairs
6. ASPer Head Start
7. Briefing session on Financial Assistance
8. Briefing session from University Health Centre
9. Briefing session from Student Affairs Division and Residential College
10. Briefing session from Security Division
