LENGGENG, 14 May – The Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), in collaboration with Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato’ Klana Putra, organised the Academic and Service Quality Aspiration Programme involving 140 Form 4 students.
The programme aimed to provide early exposure to students on the importance of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) accreditation system, higher education pathways, and opportunities to further their studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Throughout the programme, participants took part in various engaging activities including energizer sessions, ice-breaking activities, and a sharing session titled Akreditasi Pemangkin Kecemerlangan Kualiti Akademik. In addition, students were also introduced to the Foundation in Agricultural Science Programme and UPM admission opportunities through the ASPutra promotional session conducted by Encik Tuan Muhammad Syafiq Tuan Hassan.
ASPutra was also represented by Dr. Umair Abdul Halim and Dr. Ezyana Kamal Bahrin, who conducted interaction and question-and-answer sessions at the ASPutra booth to provide further information to students regarding academic programmes and opportunities to pursue higher education at UPM.
It is hoped that this programme will enhance students’ awareness of the importance of academic quality assurance while encouraging their interest in pursuing higher education, particularly at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
