SERDANG, Sept 17 – Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (ASPer) welcomed two new language instructors to the English Language Unit. Miss Ardini Zalikha Nordin and Miss Norfarahani Mohd Lazim are the latest addition to the existing five language instructors.

ASPer English Unit was established in August 2018 with the official appointment of six language instructors. However, one of the language instructors who was also the previous head of unit, Madam Azean Abu Samah, decided to leave ASPer at the end of August 2019. The appointment of the new instructors is a step towards expanding the unit to cater to the growing number of ASPer students. 

Madam Azean Abu Samah, managed to leave a warm albeit short welcome speech for Miss Ardini and Miss Farahani since both of them had been her understudies before Madam Azean bade goodbye to ASPer, “I was happy to help them assimilate to their new environment and routine. I wish both Ardini and Farahani all the best and I hope they will enjoy their time in ASPer.”

Miss Ardini and Miss Farahani hailed from the east coast of Malaysia. They both hold a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). The former’s area of interest is Communication Competency while the latter’s niche is Technology in Education. They would undoubtedly be an invaluable addition to the development of English unit specifically, and the growth of ASPer at large.
