7th July 2021, Wednesday – Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (ASPer) in collaboration with Iraqi Association for Academic Quality and Collaboration (IAAQC) has organised the 3rd Virtual Symposium on Multidisciplinary Sciences (V-SMS2021). This symposium was sponsored by Malaysian Society for Cryptology Research (MSCR), Malaysia Mathematical Sciences Association (PERSAMA) and Malaysian Genetic Association (PGM).
This V-SMS2021 is the third edition organised by ASPer after it was being held on 31 July 2019 (SMS2019) and 12 August 2020 (SMS2020). Following the theme Converging Interdisciplinary Science: Fundamentals to Modern Applications, V-SMS2021 was held to bring together and provide a platform for academics to share research results conducted from various fields of science comprising Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Agriculture.
The symposium was conducted online through Zoom platform and was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Prof. Ts. Dr. M. Iqbal Saripan, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International) Universiti Putra Malaysia. A total of 120 local and international participants comprising academics, researchers and students have attended the symposium. 58 of them have presented their research results and the research articles received will be published in the SCOPUS journal.
The organizers would like to express their appreciation and thanks to all participants and sponsors for making this symposium a success. It is hoped that this symposium will provide an opportunity for academics, researchers and students to exchange ideas and experiences as well as build research networks with various disciplines for their career development in the future.
