ASPer 2019/2020 STUDENT ELECTION

7 October 2019, ASPer 15 Student Election was held from 8.30 a.m. till 4.30 p.m. in order to select the High Committee for the Student Body of the Centre of Foundation Studies of Agricultural Science of UPM.

Starting with the nomination of candidates on the 30th of September 2019, an election notice was issued, commencing the campaigning period. Nominees ran for the position of President (10 nominees), Vice President (6 nominees) , Treasurer (3 nominees) and Secretary (2 nominees).

Each candidates presented their own manifesto using various means of campaigning such as through videos, whatsapp, Instagram as well as face-to-face campaigning. Campaigning slots were provided on Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1p.m. to 2 p.m.

Voting was held after the campaigning period. Three voting channels were provided to allow ASPer15 students to cast their votes. The total number of students that voted was 856 students or 97.94 percent.
