SERDANG, May 6, 2026 – The Physics Unit of the Centre for Foundation Studies in Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (ASPutra), successfully organized the highly anticipated ASPutra Physics Exhibition 2026 (APEx2026). The vibrant event took place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Physics Labs 1 and 2, Asasi 4, ASPutra, and brought together the bright young minds of the ASPer21 students.
APEx2026 was designed with an inspiring mission: to deepen students' understanding of physics concepts and encourage them to apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios. By pivoting to an interactive and practical hands-on approach, the exhibition served as a dynamic launchpad to spark a lifelong interest in the subject.
Creativity Meets Critical Thinking
The exhibition hall buzzed with innovation as 30 student teams showcased their ingenuity through creative poster presentations and tangible models or prototypes. It wasn't just a display of hard work but also a true test of intellect. Every team faced a rigorous question-and-answer session with an elite panel of 20 guest judges, comprising esteemed lecturers and experts in the fields of science and education. Beyond the textbooks, APEx2026 provided a valuable arena for participants to sharpen essential soft skills including their communication, critical thinking, and teamwork in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
