The 63rd Merdeka Celebration for Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science level was started with the Asper Merdeka Quran Hour program on 28 August 2020 through the online Zoom platform. Forty-two students and staff participated online, while several other staff members joined the program directly from the centre. A brief talk titled 'Merdeka Jiwa dari Individualism' was delivered by Mohamad Hadi Syufi's brother, a student of the Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (AsPer 16).

This Quran Hour program aims to invigorate the true spirit of independence through an Islamic perspective that aligns with this year's theme, Malaysia Prihatin.

The Asper Merdeka Quran Hour program was indeed a good start for the 63rd Independence Day celebration at the Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science level.
