MY FUTURE JOURNEY 2026: PROVIDING EXPOSURE TO STUDY PATHWAYS AT UPM

Serdang, 26 January – The Centre for Foundation Studies in Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (ASPutra), successfully organized the My Future Journey (MFJ) 2026 programme on Monday at the Lecture Hall, Academic Complex E (KAE), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The programme, which ran from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., aimed to provide exposure to students, particularly Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) graduates, on foundation programmes as well as courses offered by the various faculties at UPM. In addition, the programme served as a platform for interaction between students, teachers, and faculty representatives in assisting students to plan their educational pathways.

Throughout the programme, various activities were conducted, including exhibition sessions and information-sharing by representatives from the participating Responsibility Centres (PTJ). Students had the opportunity to obtain detailed explanations regarding academic programmes, entry requirements, and career prospects across multiple fields.

Among the PTJs involved were the Faculty of Design and Architecture, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences, UPM Counselling Division, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Forestry and Environment (FHAS), Admissions Division & Academic Administration Division, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The programme was seen to have successfully achieved its objectives in providing students with a clear overview of higher education options. It also assisted students in making more informed decisions based on their interests, abilities, and future career opportunities.

The organizing committee would like to express their highest appreciation and gratitude to all faculty representatives, Responsibility Centres (PTJ), teachers, and students who attended and supported the success of this programme. Special thanks are also extended to the organizing committee members for their dedication and commitment in ensuring the smooth execution of the programme from beginning to end.
