The AsperLabs virtual lab website was successfully created by a team of researchers led by Dr Muhammad Alif Mohammad Latif along with Prof. Dr. Norihan Md. Arifin and Dr. Marina Mohd Top @ Mohd Tah for the student of Centre of Foundation Studies for Agricultural Science (PASP), University Putra Malaysia. The lab was developed based on the topics learned at PASP in line with the development of the ever-expanding educational technology. This innovation has won the silver medal for the Putra Innocreative Poster Competition in conjunction with the Putra InnoCreative Carnival in Teaching and Learning 2019 (PICTL 2019) program. In 2017, this website won third place for Best Teaching and Learning Innovation Practice for Faculty / Centre competition. Through this method, students will be able to conduct practical activities and review the lessons learned through the use of smartphones or laptops regardless of place and time. It is hoped that this innovation in teaching and learning will enhance students' interest and quality in the learning of science, mathematics and technology.
